This interactive session will also serve as a preview of the upcoming 2026 Utah Family Philanthropy Learning Cohort—a four-part series hosted by NCFP, the Community Foundation of Utah, and the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, providing tools, resources, and peer connections to help families increase the impact and effectiveness of their giving. Workshop 2: Fresh Perspectives on Impact Measurement
Facilitated by Melissa O’Neil and Susan Drake, Stand Together Foundation
Join Stand Together Foundation for an engaging, hands-on workshop designed specifically for philanthropic leaders to discuss and learn about a human centered approach to Impact Measurement, Customer First Measurement (CFM). With the sector wide emphasis on measuring success, CFM offers a new approach that centers those your grantees serve, deepening their impact and transforming their decision making. As philanthropists, understanding and applying Customer First Principles can transform how you approach giving and community engagement, for better relationships and impact. Come learn about the framework, share your challenges, and walk away with clear actionable ways to help reorient the social sector around customer metrics, leading to stronger communities. Whether you are curious about impact measurement or ready to implement actionable solutions with the causes you care about, you will learn from experts within the CFM framework movement how to produce better results and amplify your giving.
